The publication devotes a total of 56 pages to the documentation of the Gerber Architekten firm's architectural oeuvre as an exhibition of works. It starts with a conversation between Editor-in-Chief Boris Schade-Bünsow and the firm's founder Eckhard Gerber, who provides insights into his personal influences and milestones, the firm's structure, as well as their internationalisation progress. It also introduces the extended management team, which oversees more than 320 employees at several locations in Germany and abroad. Drawing from a lengthy list of works, the publication presents in ten project reports a varied selection of buildings from throughout the firm's extensive portfolio. This selection symbolically represents the more than 400 successfully implemented projects and competitions, thereby documenting the history and offering a glimpse into the future of Gerber Architekten. A two-page chronology concludes the issue and reveals an additional selection of architectural projects over a timespan of more than six decades.
